Ursula Kiener Ford – President
Ursula Kiener Ford is the President of The Panama Club, Panama Travel Group and Forlacol Insurance Broker Firm. A true entrepreneur, she enjoys assisting foreigners who wish to relocate, invest or visit Panama and providing them with a very personalized attention in a timely manner. As a Panama promoter she spends much time writing articles and guidelines to life and tourism in Panama. She enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations Panama has to offer.

Guillermo Ford Sosa – Insurance Broker
Guillermo Ford Sosa has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry in Panama, as a broker and working for insurance companies. Being a true expert on insurance he has written books on health insurance in Panama, underwritten many policies for insurance companies, assisted companies and individuals in obtaining policies for their specific needs. He has won numerous awards as top broker in Panama, including the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table. Guillermo is also a director of Reforestadora Profuturo S.A., a reforestation company and Sipesa, a company that designs glass and carpentry.

Mario Alberto Quezada – Mortgage Broker
Mario Alberto Quezada has a background in banking and finance. Working first in Banistmo Bank as a foreign retail service representative, then in HSBC as a mortgage relationship officer, producing an average of $2.5 million monthly in mortgage revenues. In 2007, Mario decided to open his own firm, Global Financial Link, offering clients worldwide a personalized mortgage brokering service in Panama pioneering in this field. Mario is currently the branch manager of BBVA Bank in Costa del Este.

Ingrid Jeaneth Vega – Real Estate Broker
Ingrid Jeaneth Vega has a background in the service field, having worked as a Realtor, legal intern and in the concierge sector. For The Panama Club, Ingrid coordinates real estate tours for individual and commercial clients. She has an extensive knowledge about the country and can find properties very specific to the client’s requirement. As a senior in law school she is very familiar with Panamanian law and can help clients in writing sales purchase agreements and contracts.

Leroy Sheffer – International Business Advisor and Lawyer
Leroy Sheffer enters into his career promoting investment in Panama with a program from the World Bank to Support the Commercial Opening of Panama, where he becomes part of Panama’s negotiating team. In 2006 he passes to be Vice Minister and Chief Commercial Negotiator of the Ministry of Commerce of Panama. He has been responsible for promotion investment agreements with commercial partners such as Qatar, Mexico, Finland, Belgium among others. He is currently an advisor for the Ministry of Agricultural Development, consultant for UNCTAD and partner of ITAS Group.

Johnathan Rodriguez Gonzalez - Lawyer and Investment Promoter
Johnathan Rodriguez Gonzalez has worked in the public sector as an investment promoter of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Panama. Besides promoting investment in key sectors, he was also in charge of Multinational Companies relocating to Panama under the fiscal and visa benefits of Law 41. In the private sector he has worked in a legal firm and in an international management and trust company. Johnathan has extensive knowledge of investment sectors in Panama and of business laws. In The Panama Club he assists individuals and corporations to set up in Panama, with their visas, corporations and foundations, contracts, among other legal needs.

Sofia Herrera Puyalto - Tourism and Destination Consultant
Sofia Herrera Puyalto’s background is in non profit agencies, such as CARE International and the German Technical Cooperation Agency in Honduras, which gave her the opportunity to live in Germany and learn the German language. Sofia relocated to Panama early 2009. As an expatriate herself she has a lot of empathy with people who are relocating to Panama. In The Panama Club, Sofia coordinates destination tours for people who wish to live outside of Panama City and the travel section of the company, Panama Travel Group.

Guniver Melendez - Administrator of the Boquete, Chiriqui Office
Guniver Melendez is a native from the town of Boquete in Chiriqui and administers our Chiriqui Branch. Guniver has a degree in tourism and has worked in the hospitality and service sector, including Los Molinos Hotel in Caldera. She has technical knowledge of insurance, having worked for our insurance broker firm, Forlacol, for over 2 and a half years. In Chiriqui she is a liaison for our main branch in Panama, to attend clients all over this ever growing destination in Panama. Guniver has integrated herself to the expat community in the region and helps in many volunteer causes in the area.
